Rite of Osiris Announcement Trailer Released, Steam Page Now Live

Time Break Studios has released the announcement trailer for Rite of Osiris, a first-person psychological survival horror game set in ancient Egyptian ruins. The game’s Steam page is now live and open for wishlists.

In Rite of Osiris, players take on the role of a lone 19th-century explorer stranded after falling into a ravine at the edge of a desert ruin. What begins as shelter from an approaching storm becomes a descent into a buried village, abandoned excavation sites, and tombs that were never meant to be opened.

Light is limited. Supplies are scarce. Every object has weight. Doors open by hand. Tools can help players search, craft, distract, and survive what waits below.

The announcement trailer offers a first look at the game’s atmosphere, physical interaction systems, candlelit exploration, and survival horror tone.

Key Features

  • Survive by staying unseen: Hide behind objects, under cover, and in darkness when threats patrol nearby. Turn off your light to avoid being seen, but risk losing your way in the ruins.
  • A world you can touch: Lift, rotate, drag, stack, tip, and break objects to search for supplies, create distractions, block paths, and solve physical problems.
  • Scavenge, craft, endure: Search the ruins for materials and recipes to craft survival tools, manage limited resources, and stay alive as the descent becomes more dangerous.
  • Physical first-person horror: Open doors by hand, manipulate objects directly, and use the environment under pressure when something is hunting you in the dark.

Rite of Osiris is currently in development for PC.
