Aerial_Knight Games is proud to announce the official release date for its upcoming title, Aerial_Knight’s DropShot, launching February 17 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
Developed by Aerial_Knight Games, a small Black-owned independent studio based in Detroit and led by solo creator Aerial_Knight, DropShot is the studio’s third commercial release, following the critically acclaimed Aerial_Knight’s Never Yield and its sequel Aerial_Knight’s We Never Yield. The game was developed by a core team of just three developers, with no publisher, continuing the studio’s mission of creating small, unique, and dope games with strong creative identity.
About Aerial_Knight’s DropShot
Aerial_Knight’s Dropshot is a high-speed, stylized FPS / Race where you play as Smoke Wallace. As a kid, he was bitten by a radioactive dragon, turning his skin purple and giving him the power to fire bullets from his fingertips. Thrown into deadly sky battles for revenge, you race rivals, fight dragons, move fast, shoot smart, and look cool when you land.
Community-Driven Development
DropShot was built with the direct support and collaboration of the game’s Patreon community, whose feedback helped shape gameplay, balance, and features throughout development. As a thank-you, Patreon supporters will receive the game for free shortly after launch.
The release of DropShot marks the first of three titles Aerial_Knight Games plans to launch this year.
