ODDCORE, the retro boomer-shooter that gives players 5 minutes to stylistically explode their way through hordes of weirdos, has just received its first major update, adding new maps, enemies, and a series of quality of life updates.
Released in Early Access in January to Very Positive Steam reviews and already fully Steam Deck verified, ODDCORE is a wild shooter set in creepy liminal backrooms, packed with aggressive enemies and a banging soundtrack. And there’s a weird and wonderful amusement arcade to explore for good measure.
Today’s update adds a whopping 10 new maps, 3 mean-ass enemies, and a whole mess of fixes and tweaks for the SMG, shotgun, pistol, nailgun, katana and, erm, teddy bomb.
It also introduces a bunch of quality of life updates – including rebindable keys and a quick restart for the speedrunners – as well as localization for German, Spanish, French, Chinese, Japanese and Korean players.
