The horror game, which saw its original February 13th launch stalled in “Review Limbo,” is now confirmed to launch globally on Friday, February 20th at 9:00 AM EST.
Following an outpouring of support from a community of over 100,000 followers, the developers successfully resolved a final technical hurdle regarding platform compatibility. The path is now clear for one of this month’s most anticipated indie titles to hit the hands of eager fans.
“It’s been an emotional rollercoaster,” says Sébastien Banks, solo developer of Welcome to Doll Town. “To have 80,000 people waiting at the door while the key was stuck in the lock was stressful, but the community support was my fuel. We’ve fought the ‘final boss’ of development—the review process—and we won. I can’t wait for everyone to finally play.”
