A playable demo for Carmagist, a civilization-building deck-construction strategy game, is now live during Steam Next Fest.
Overview
Carmagist is set in another world where civilization has been devastated by a Demon Lord. Players must lead a nation on the brink of extinction and develop technology, funding, and population in order to defeat this overwhelmingly powerful foe.
One of the game’s key features is that by advancing technology, players can continually strengthen their cards.
The Approaching Archdemons
Each stage introduces the Demon Lord’s elite subordinates known as Archdemons.
After a set number of turns, they march toward the player’s stronghold. To survive, players must strengthen their cards and prepare for the coming battle before they arrive.
About the Demo
The full game is designed to deliver hundreds of hours of gameplay, and even the demo offers dense, strategic battles that can be enjoyed for several hours—up to 10+ hours of playtime.
