Little Nightmares-inspired horror “Lull: Rest After Crying” demo launches on Steam March 13

Japan-based indie game studio Tonkobitta is pleased to announce that the demo for the horror action-adventure game “Lull: Rest After Crying” will launch on Steam on March 13, 2026.

This demo is a short experience designed to introduce players to the world of the game. It features a reconstructed portion of a stage from the full version, with an estimated playtime of 5–10 minutes.

Players control a young girl exploring a building that has been expanded and rebuilt in chaotic ways. Carrying a baby she encounters along the way, players must navigate dark and eerie corridors and rooms, overcoming environmental puzzles and obstacles to find a way out.

The game is being developed by a two-person team and draws inspiration from the atmospheric world of Little Nightmares while expressing a distinctly Japanese sense of horror through the perspective of Japanese creators.

The Steam store page is currently accepting wishlist registrations.
