Developed by the same team behind Bio Inc, Extinction Day gives you one clear goal: wipe out humanity from the face of the Earth once and for all. Take control of the world’s worst catastrophes and use them to reduce civilization to rubble. Cause natural and man-made disasters, conjure plagues, and leverage war to spread worldwide chaos. Then, combine catastrophic events to weaken the humans’ resolve and thwart their attempts to resist the apocalypse. Fight the world’s brightest minds as they race to develop countermeasures, strike regions with pinpoint accuracy to destabilise governments and ultimately eliminate the last remnants of humankind before they can escape to the Ark.

Extinction Day features 18 campaign missions across 4 difficulty levels, as well as 28 unique challenge scenarios for dozens of hours of replayable destruction. As you set the world on fire, you’ll be able to trigger over 10 unique disasters – building your unique strategy to find the most effective way to destroy the world.
But humanity won’t stand idly by. As the threat of extinction increases, governments will mobilize to contain the catastrophe and stabilize affected regions, while the scientific community will try to find a way to reverse the damage. Manage your resources well, unlock new abilities and upgrades, and adapt to stay on top as humanity evolves. Combine events to create powerful chain reactions, experiment, and choose your upgrade path to define your playstyle and end the world!
After the positive reception of the game’s demo during the Steam Next Fest and over 80,000 total wishlist additions on Steam, the release of Extinction Day marks a major milestone for the whole team at DryGin Studios.

Extinction day will launch on Steam on April 10th, 2026. The retail price will be 19.99 USD with adapted regional pricing. The game will be 20% off for 14 days following the launch date.
