Rabbit Comes Home: Roguelite Tower Defense Announced for Steam

Solo developer Edgar Letner of ZIPSTED, an indie studio founded in 2012, is proud to announce Rabbit Comes Home. This sci-fi survival roguelite chronicles the desperate journey of a lone rabbit, the sole survivor of a catastrophic accident in deep space. Stranded and alone, he must fight against all odds to return home. The game is expected to launch in 2026 on PC, Mac, and Steam Deck via Steam.

In Rabbit Comes Home, players find themselves on a small ship, warping through hostile, unknown sectors of space. While the ship’s path is set, its defense is not. The game captures the feeling of a desperate journey, not just endless survival. This high-stakes gameplay loop is a constant balancing act, combining the intense, skill-based combat of a wave-based shooter with strategic tower-defense elements and the high-stakes decisions of a roguelite, in a blend that will feel familiar to fans of Dome Keeper, Slay the Spire, and Drill Core.

Players must defend their ship against relentless waves of aliens, harvest resources, and use those scraps to upgrade their ship’s systems under immense pressure. Survival depends on making tough choices: do you spend resources on stronger weapons to survive the next fight, or bolster your warp core to ensure you can even make the next jump? Players will always be on edge, always outnumbered, with home as the one and only goal.

Rabbit Comes Home is now available to wishlist on Steam.
