Frog & Dove Games today launched I Eat Paintings When Guards Aren’t Looking, a surreal hidden-object game where players tear chunks out of classical masterpieces to satisfy increasingly strange cravings. The game is available now on Steam for Windows and Linux, with full controller support, and features 15 levels set inside real historical paintings spanning the 1500s to the 1800s.
Players are art lovers. They are also a menace. Possibly an alien? Guided by bizarre cravings and questionable logic, they rip through famous artworks in search of exactly what they’re hungry for.
Each level presents a different painting, complete with background information about its history and creator. Art vandalism has never been so informative!
