Driven by strong community interest and 350k+ Steam wishlists, the most in its category, The Ranchers is releasing its first public demo ahead of Early Access in Q2 this year.
On February 12th, 9 AM PT (12 PM ET, 6 PM CET) the indie developer of The Ranchers and Trophy Games invite players into the world of the upcoming open-world country-life sim The Ranchers with its first public playable demo. With over 350k wishlists on Steam – the most in its category – and expected to be among the most followed games during Steam Next Fest, The Ranchers lets players build their homestead, manage their ranch, and customize their life in a vast open world.
Building on the Stardew Valley formula with influences from The Sims and GTA, The Ranchers blends farming, city life, co-op gameplay, and exploration in a seamless open world. Players can co-op up to four friends to raise animals, grow crops, craft machines, build their dream house, and explore a gigantic open world filled with mines and dangerous monsters. Along the way, they can earn the villagers’ respect and esteem, and who knows, maybe even find love and start a family.
“After years of developing The Ranchers, it means a great deal to finally put the demo into players’ hands and hear their feedback,” said Ethan, sole developer of The Ranchers. “I know many have been waiting a long time, and their support throughout this journey has meant everything, I’m excited to move closer to Early Access together.”
What Awaits Players in The Ranchers Demo?

The demo will be available from the 12th and up until and throughout Steam Next Fest.
